NO EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR WELDING ANYMORE!
Do you still use expensive equipment to weld aluminum parts?Do you want an easy and fast way of welding aluminum? Improve your welding techniques and eliminate common welding flaws that may occur by using our Melt Welding Rods!
No fluxes and no fumes are required (however, you can use some flux if you feel it will do a better job). These welding rods make a sound joint, stronger than the parent metal and can join thin and thick parts together. Its corrosion resistance is excellent and has minimal or no distortion of the parent material.
It's a high-quality special Aluminum-alloy rod used to weld or braze primarily Aluminum and Aluminum alloys, but can be used to braze any other non-ferrous materials except for stainless steel. It makes an extremely durable joint where it's even stronger than the parent metal and can join thick or thin parts together firmly.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
✔️ Great welding effect: With low melting point (647℃~658℃), great weldability and corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, high electric conductivity, and excellent processing performance. ✔️ Wide application: It is mainly used for argon arc welding and filling material for pure aluminum, connection with aluminum bus and guide rod of electrolytic aluminum plant and electric power, chemistry, food and so on. ✔️ No need for solder powder: You don't have to use other flux powder with aluminum alloy as the welding core and coating as the salt base. Very convenient and easy to weld. ✔️ Widely Use In Life: Suitable for welding or surfacing welding alloy with high strength, good forge ability & good corrosion resistance. ✔️ Light Weight & Small Volume:Very easy to bend & carry.
WELDING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Thoroughly clean the area you’re about to weld by brushing the base with stainless steel brush until it becomes shiny. Then evenly heat the area to be welded 2. As you heat, rub the rod vigorously against the heated area until the rod starts flowing. 3.Please Note: Never apply heat directly to the rod as it will crumb, and if you manage to melt the rod directly, the weld will be easily breakable. Remember, melting the rod directly is a wrong way, and makes crumby welds.

Good rods

Good stuff. does the job fixing a hole in my aluminum Jon boat. I highly recommend this product.

Very fast delivery. Following information and instruction on YouTube given by experienced welders. I decided to do my own experience. I practiced on a few pieces of aluminum using a Bernzomatic AL3 rod. We need to have patience because it takes time to heat up the work in progress. Once the temperature is reached the Aluminum rod will very flow uniformly into the joint. It's a great product to use for multiple small aluminum projects.

Got to fix an aluminum diamond plate toolbox. got it off my nephew had a slot like someone cut a hole it in. these worked great along with map gas and a good torch head. just take your time and use the right tools.

Cleaned the rectangular 1/8' thick tubing to make an 'H' frame for my kayak trailer using a rotary wire brush on my drill motor. Mapp gas worked great. have to have patience heating if using tubing like I did. but flowed like a dream. Tinned both contact surfaces and left beads on the joints.

I needed to weld a hole in a tough aluminum alloy. No learning curve. but best to use a MAPP gas torch. The weld is clean and strong. 780 may seem like 'low' temperature. but if my project ever experiences temperatures like that. that would be the least of my worries!

I bought this package because I had a small job of repairing a crack on my outboards gear case and I knew that two rods should do it..plus I didn't want a lot of these rods if they didn't work. Well. much to my surprise. these worked really well for the job I was doing. I would suggest watching some youtube videos on Aluminum brazing. just to get an idea of how it's done.

I used these rods to patch imperfections and holes in aluminum bullet molds. Even though these rods have a working temp of 750deg. the repairs to my molds held up exceptionally well under the 800-900 degree heat of the molten lead alloy. Really. really impressed!

It works really well for what it is. I used this to repair a puncture hole on an older aluminum bicycle frame. and I was initially having issues using a smaller torch. I couldn't get the product to melt on the frame. I picked up a bigger handheld blow torch from Harbor Freight. still using regular green tank propane and was working within minutes. The sticks are fairly easy to work with. as long as you don't let it run and don't apply heat directly to the stick. I have some welding experience from working in a steelyard. but none in brazing or aluminum welding and this product was very easy to use for a first time user. I just watched a few YouTube videos and dove right in. I was able to span a hole almost an inch in diameter by using a circular technique. and I built up the product enough to where I was able to grind and sand it smooth afterward. I just had to be careful of overheating the existing product I had laid down as I was building it up. or else it would run or drip. The size of the torch was really paramount. as was heating the area surrounding your work. You would never have known there was a big puncture hole in my bike frame at one point unless you stripped the paint off and saw the difference in colors of aluminum. Highly recommended for small repairs. and saved me from going to an aluminum welder or bike repair shop.

This was my first time using an aluminum braising rod. So all I can say is that the item did exactly what I figured it would do!

Excellent product. Very fast delivery.

Great product. as long as you clean. clean. clean everything and you need to be patient. Proper heating is the second most important thing to remember. I tested it out last night and the aluminum Fail before the weld did when applying lateral force.

Even though I have a tig welder I use these rods from time to time. I installed some aluminum drain plugs. on my pontoon boat. Instead of moving it under the carport of my shop (hassle) I used these rods with my torch. They work great for things like this. You must get the work hot enough. If you feel you might. get your work to hot. here is a trick for you. Buy an infrared thermometer & use it to help get heat to around 700 degrees. Remove heat then add rod. STICK WITH ME & YOU WILL BE WEARING JEWELS (wink).
